Lady Eaglets earn big win over Lady Stingers

The Woodsboro seventh grade Lady Eaglets took a big win over the Runge Lady Stingers on Monday, with a score of 35-30.

Leading scorers include Jamie Wilson with 13 points; Kasye McCool, 11; Taylor Perez, 3; Melissa Zuniga, Paige Manson, Toni Manson and KaLynn Abila, each with 2.

“We were down by five at the half, but the Lady Eaglets fought hard and came out 110 percent on both offense and defense,” said Coach Rhonda Perez.. “Great job! Hard work pays off.”

The Lady Eaglets next game will be Jan. 8 at home against Yorktown.

Game time is 5 p.m.
