Mrs. Ramirez was born on March 11, 1910, in Bee County to Tomas and Felipita Villanueva. She was a housewife.
Survivors include two sisters, Suzanna Garza Sanchez and Lillie Garza Garcia; four sons, Porfiro Ramirez Jr., Chris (Esmeralda) Ramirez, Albert (Ruth) Ramirez and Richard (Lalie) Ramirez, all of Victoria; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Porfirio Ramirez Sr.; three sisters, Teresa G. Suniga, Magdalena and Dora; and six brothers, Francisco “Pancho,” Vicente, Victor, Enrique, Isabel and David Garza.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Treviño Funeral Home.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 o’clock Thursday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Richard “Ricky” Ramirez, Porfirio “BB” Ramirez III, Chris Ramirez Jr., Louis Ramirez, John Albert Ramirez Jr. and Richard Lawrence Ramirez.
