Three Houston-area adults, who were advertising the sexual services of three juvenile females, were arrested in Portland last weekend.

Portland Police officers arrested one man and two women for aggravated promotion of prostitution Aug. 9.

Deandre Woodley, 20, Tyrah Forun, 23, and Alexis Sanni, 17, were arrested at Portland’s Best Western. The suspects were found with three juvenile females, who were also from Houston. Two of the juveniles were runaways, and one is believed to be Woodley’s sister. The suspects posted ads — for sexual services in George West, Corpus Christi, Kingsville and Ingleside — on at least one website.

The suspects left Houston with the juveniles Aug. 5, and checked into the hotel.

A phone call from one of the juvenile’s mothers — who said her daughter was being held against her will — early Saturday afternoon tipped off law enforcement officers, Portland Police Investigator Aaron Veuleman said.

“One of the juvenile females contacted her mother, who contacted the Corpus Christi Police Department,” Veuleman said.

Officers from Portland, Corpus Christi, and the San Patricio County Sheriff’s office were able to piece together the suspects’ scheme and arrest the three of them, Veuleman said.

The suspects are being held at San Patricio County Jail. Each suspect has a $25,000 bond.

Aggravated promotion of prostitution is a first-degree felony. The case is still under investigation, and arrangements were made to have the juveniles returned to their families in Houston.
