Team effort

Main Street Beeville plans to celebrate game day for the Beeville Trojans and Coastal Bend Cougars with special team flags that will be displayed in downtown when teams from the schools are playing home contests. Main Street officially unveiled the flags at a recent gathering on the courthouse square in downtown Beeville. Attendees for the unveiling were, from left, Ward 1 City Councilman Mike Willow II (representing Blake Fulenwider Automotive), Main Street Beeville Director Michelle Clark Trevino, Dollar General North Store Manager Andrew Dominguez, Ward 2 City Councilman Benny Puente Jr., Beeville ISD Superintendent Travis Fanning, Beeville Athletic Director Chris Soza, Aztec Auto Group sales representative Daniel Ramirez, and Aztec Auto Group sales representative Felix Castillo. Dominguez helped spearhead the project and sought the sponsorships from the Aztec Auto Group and Blake Fulenwider Automotive to cover the cost of the flags. (Photo by Kevin J. Keller)
