Domingo Aleman Gonzales, 75, of Beeville, died Monday, June 3, 2019, at his residence.
Mr. Gonzales was born April 29, 1944, in Charco to Francisco and Eva (Arrellano) Gonzales. He married Maria Alicia Garza Gonzales and was a resident of Beeville for 50 years. He was a member of the New Hope Christian Church and retired from the City of Beeville in 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Francisco Gonzales Jr.; and a sister, Gloria Gonzales Briseno.
Survivors include three sons, Leroy (Rosa) Gonzales, Steve Gonzales and Randy (Vanessa) Gonzales; a daughter, Maria Guadalupe Gonzales (Bobby) Silva of Beeville; a brother, Reyes Aleman (Vickie) Arrellano of Wharton; three sisters, Esperanza Gonzales Garza, Margie Aleman (Abel) Suniga of Beeville and Lucy Aleman Garcia of Red Oak; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held at Treviño Funeral Home Thursday, June 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 o’clock.
His body lay in repose at the New Hope Christian Church Friday, June 7, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. when the funeral began with the Rev. Salvador Rincon officiating. Interment followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Steve Gonzales, Leroy Gonzales, Randy Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales, Jerry Medina and Maria Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Henry Lopez and Manuel Soliz.
