A new series Be Well, Live Well is offered free of charge to new retirees and active adults by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
The series promotes independence through healthy aging and is targeted towards adults nearing or in early retirement. The lively and informative sessions will be delivered in a casual social atmosphere. Each session will include a self-assessment, information sharing, goal setting and a recipe demonstration. Upon completion of each session, participants will receive materials which extend that session’s goal.
Be Well, Live Well session titles are:
1. Be Independent: Eat Well
2. Be Able: Read the Label
3. Be Safe: Eat Safe
4. Be Creative: Plan Meals
5. Be Fit: Move More
Be Well, Live Well will be offered at the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library beginning July 30 at 10 a.m.
