There were 236 cows and 33 bulls. The market was weaker in face of big runs. Good demand, but at lower levels. Tops on cows were off $10/cwt at $60/cwt as qualities were low,
while bulls topped out at a 1$ lower at $88/cwt.
The calf market was stronger across the board with many tops over $5/cwt higher. Lower
qualities and large bull calves continue to be discounted, as well as short haired calves going into winter. A definite turn up after a couple of steady weeks.
