Goliad's Aerianna Segura defended her Class 3A Division I title on Thursday at the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Association's state meet at the Taylor Expo Center in Abilene on March 16.
Segura, competing in the 220-pound weight class, broke the Class 3A record in the bench press with a lift of 370 pounds.
