KENEDY – Another fundraiser to help with the Escondido Creek Parkway project will take place on Thursday, Feb. 9 as a Designer Bag Bingo event will take place at the Kenedy City Hall Auditorium.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the event starting at 7 p.m.
The designer bags range from designers that include Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and Coach, just to name a few.
Presale tickets cost $25 each and that will include 20 bingo cards, light refreshments and beverages along with a chance to win a designer handbag. Limited tickets will be $30 at the door. Additional bingo cards will be available for purchase.
Tickets can be purchased at www.sariverfoundation.org/river-initiatives/escondido-creek-parkway, www.escondidocreekparkway.org, the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce (205 S. Second St.) or any Escondido Creek Parkway board member.
Event organizers are still in need of sponsors for the event and there are three levels of sponsorships.
Tote sponsors of $1,000 will receive one round table (with logo on table), eight tickets, name in program and on all advertisements, recognition at the event, bonus wine and food sampling.
Crossbody sponsors of $500 with receive four tickets, mention in all advertisements, recognition at the event and in the program and special VIP seating.
Clutch sponsors of $250 will receive two tickets, mention in all advertisements, recognition at the event and in the program.
