Manuella “Mamie” Beltran Garza

Manuella “Mamie” Beltran Garza, 70, of Kenedy, died Thursday, July 4, 2019, in San Antonio. 

Mrs. Garza was a retired healthcare provider and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Guadalupana Ministry. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul C. Garza; her parents, Guadalupe (Pena) and Manuel Beltran; brothers, Mike Pena and Richard Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Cruz Perales; and a sister-in-law, Dominga Pena. 

Survivors include eight siblings, Trine Perales, Emma Cruz, Rudolfo (Julia) Beltran,  Esperanza Garcia, Gloria Ortiz, Mary Ann (Danny) Cruz-Solis, Cynthia Rodriguez and Jessie (Angie) Beltran. 

Visitation was held Sunday, July 7, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Eckols Funeral Home chapel with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 o’clock. 

The funeral service was conducted Monday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date. 

Pallbearers were her nephews.
