PANNA MARIA – The Immaculate Conception Catholic Turkey Dinner was scrapped for precautionary measures recently.
The annual dinner roughly started 45 years ago with people cooking food as a community.
“I don’t know, but not that I know of,” Bernadine Labus replied when asked if the dinner has ever been canceled before. “It has grown every year. There were a few years where it remained the same, but it has gotten a lot, log bigger.”
Last year, over four thousand dinners were sold at the event.
