Four people were arrested and sent to the Refugio County Jail after Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Refugio County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in their car.
The traffic stop was made by a DPS trooper at 11 p.m. Saturday near the Woodsboro Dairy Queen on U.S. Highway 77.
Arrested and charged with drug possession were Chelsea Russell, 30 of Woodsboro; Katherine James, 30, of Woodsboro; Bryan Reed, 31, of Woodsboro; and Stephen Andrews, 35, of the Woodlands.
Refugio County Sheriff Pinky Gonzales said the case is still being investigated.
