Marilyn Jean “Jeannie” Robinson

Marilyn Jean “Jeannie” Robinson, 62, died Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Ms. Robinson was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Refugio to Douglas and Ella Elliott Franklin. She graduated from Refugio High School and the University of Houston in Victoria and was a teacher at Victoria ISD.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Brice Tipton and Arthur Robinson Jr., both of Victoria; a daughter, Jennifer (Bobby) Bankhead of Victoria; brothers, Ralph C. Lewis of Victoria, Larry Lewis of Hurst and Douglas Franklin Jr. of Refugio; sisters, Mary (Doug) Edwards, Eliza Franklin, Betty Franklin and Cheryl Franklin, all of Victoria, Lottie Franklin of Beeville, and Patty (Bull) Lewis, Rose (Jerry) King, Joyce Franklin and Lillian Franklin, all of Refugio.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, with the service immediately following at St. Peters Baptist Church in Victoria. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Community Cemetery in Refugio.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Moore Funeral Home, Refugio.
