George G. Guerra

George G. Guerra, 61, died Saturday, June 29, 2019, at a hospital in San Antonio following an extended illness. 

Mr. Guerra was born June 17, 1958, in Beeville to Alfredo P. and Emilia (Reyna) Guerra. He was the manager of the Sunrise-Sunset Café, the family business. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four children, Alfredo “Fred” (Mayra) Guerra and George Matthew (Heather) Guerra, both of Three Rivers, Eliza (Bradley) Dusek of Killeen and Bo Jordan (April) East of Calallen; four sisters, Gloria Licona, Gilda (Albert) Ruiz and Geneva (David) Garcia, all of Three Rivers, and Gena “GiGi” (Eli Rodriguez) Guerra of George West; and four grandchildren, Aubrie Guerra, Theo Guerra, Angelo Guerra and Greyson Dusek.

Visitation was held Tuesday, July 2, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers with a rosary recited that evening at 7 o’clock at St. George Catholic Church in George West.

The funeral service was conducted Wednesday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial followed at the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.

I'll always remember George at the Sunrise/Sunset café. Early mornings in the café with lots of friends. Good breakfast and pleasant surroundings and George walking the floor making the different tables. George may you be with God.
